Convy Terms

Last updated: May 29, 2026

These Terms govern controlled-release use of Convy. By using Convy, you agree to use it only for lawful household coordination and to keep your account access secure.

Controlled-Release Service

Convy is provided in controlled release. Features may change, be temporarily unavailable, or be removed while the product is being prepared for broader distribution. Production-grade encrypted offsite backups must be added before broad public launch.

Accounts and Households

You are responsible for activity from your authenticated account and for inviting only appropriate household members. Household content should not include sensitive personal, financial, medical, or regulated information.

Voice Features

Voice input is optional and may be processed by OpenAI to transcribe and parse household items. You should review parsed items before confirming creation in a list.

ChatGPT MCP Integration

The ChatGPT MCP connector is available in the current controlled release. You must authorize it through the Convy OAuth consent screen before ChatGPT can access household data. In the current integration, ChatGPT can create and update shopping item and task completion status only after user confirmation. ChatGPT cannot edit, delete, archive, invite, leave, manage lists, modify account settings, view admin metrics, or access backups through the connector.

Acceptable Use

Availability and Liability

Convy is provided without warranties during controlled release. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the project maintainer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages from use of the service.

Termination

Access may be suspended or removed if these Terms are violated, if the controlled release ends, or if continued operation would create security, legal, or operational risk.
